Word Bearers Heavy Bolter Havocs (Architecture of Aggression XXIX)
Anyway... I eventually got the Havoc Squad built and based, and ready for primer:
The black bodies in the above pic are from a unit of Possessed (for my Emperor's Children army) that I abandoned when the current Chaos Codex came out. Like I said, I've pretty much run out of Power Armoured Chaos Marines so I had to draft these in and replace their heads and arms to be able to make a full squad.
A few evenings later, and they're all done! Given the battlefield role I envision for the squad, trophy racks and bases decorated with the usual Marine bits won't really look 'right'. Thanks to the Pot'o'Bits from bitsandkits.co.uk though, I had a few Ork/Tyranid/DarkEldar pieces I could use instead.

Word Bearers Terminators (Architecture of Aggression XXVIII)
I've got another box of Terminators arriving (ever so slooowly) from Maelstrom, so I'll probably be doing a few more of these later this summer...

Plaguebearers of Nurgle (Bad Omen I)
Putting the T5 Marines back on the back-burner, I sorted out the models and figured ou that I could do three squads of seven distinct models. The remaining seven have so many duplicate models I doubt I'll be making a fourth squad.
I managed two squads before the end of the month, but should get around to the third towards the end of may. I started both squads off with a base coat of Army Painter's Desert Yellow spray. For the first squad I started detailing and highlighting from there, while the second squad got a good coat of Green Ink before detailing/highlighting. Both squads got a coat of a polyurethane woodstain for final shadowing/wet-look/sealing. It looks like I may have started a small force of Chaos Daemons to ally in with the Word Bearers in those big games we sometimes play.

ØRNULVS APRIL 2011 PROJECT Re-revisiting the Ultramarines 2.
And then they where three!
My goal was to be able to field several ordinary dreadnoughts with various weapon combos. The Venerable Dreadnought model comes with three different Heavy Weapons. Together with a couple of weapon arms from Forge World, this model would give me the options I needed.
I wanted to be able to field the Venerable Dreadnought as both a “Venerable” and a “Ordinary” Dreadnought. Therefore I used the “built in sarcophagus” and kept the amount of gold trimmings to a minimum. Still, I wanted it to look more ancient, so I used the engraved plates giving them a dark copper/brass colour. Using the same design on the three weapon arms, and using them on the other two models, would give them a unified look. I loosened the existing arms on my old Dreadnoughts, gave them a make over with Scripts and Seals, and used magnets on all the Weapon Arms.
Above all three Dreadnoughts fielded, two with AssaultCannons. Next, the PlasmaCannon option:
And last, the LasCannon option:
Planning to start the "move process" in May/June, I am not sure I will start a new project in May. I have decided to build to more CombiMelta Sgt, but I need two sets of legs and banners. If anyone has some spares left, please let med know.
Cheers,

Gaming event 07.05.2011
07.05.2011 12:00 I invite all TSB members to the last gaming event in Løvenskioldsgt 19a. I will prepare a large Chilli stew!
I suggest armies at 1750p and that we play scenarios from "Battle Missions".
NB! I ask that you all give notice if you can attend or not within 15.04.2011. If less than 4 players attend I opt for doing something else.
