Khorne Daemonkin Bloodcrushers
This weekend we're having another TSB-gathering at Ørn's summer house for a weekend of good food, good drinks and - of course - several games of 40K.
For this, I've put together a Khorne Daemonkin list using the Blood Host detachment with a Slaughtercult, a Charnel Cohort and a couple of Maulerfiends. The Charnel Cohort require you to include a unit of Bloodcrushers, but I didn't own any. No worries! Down to the FLGS in Oslo I went, to buy another box of plastic crack.
The Juggernauts were built and painted over a couple of evenings, with the Bloodletters requiring another two. After that, it was just the small matter of pairing rider and mount - and I'm ready to go!!!
Until next time - where I'll feature the 'little brothers' I promised last time.

Wolftime!
Time to take back the skies!
Stormwolf gunship.
This party bus, is bristling with weapons. Two twin linked multimeltas, twin linked lascannon, and a twin linked hellfrost cannon. That`s a lot of twin linked. Good for hunting enemy armour and monstrous creatures
With a solid Imperial armour value of 12 all around, it is durable, but no Land Raider.
This party bus can transport up to, say 15 fired up and ready to rock, undergraduates – aka Blood Claws, and their Deacon – Wolf Priest. Since this also is an assault vehicle – well you get the idea...
So this is the first addition to my existing Space Wolf company of Harald Deathwolf.
More to come...

Dark Eldar – Haemonculus and some other stuff…
Both of my Haemonculus are equipped with Liquefier guns, and they where built before the era of magnets. So it was time to upgrade my collection with a new model, and try out the new kit.
I love the ”sneaky” pose of the new model. Full of details - it was great fun to build. Again I put a lot of work into blending the paint scheme between my former models and my new Grotesques; the most obvious difference being that I chose to paint the ”jars with elixirs” with my chosen ”powesupa colour” – orange.
My Scourges where built before the Splinter Cannons got the Salvo rule, and before it was all about stripping hull points - instead of blowing vehicles up!
I converted 4 of the Splinter Cannons into Haywire blasters.
Trying to make everything coherent, I also painted the ”jars with elixirs” orange, not only on these 4 guys, but on all of my 15 Scourges.
Preparing for the TSB summer event in July, I found it appropriate to upgrade my object markers and adapting them to the Maelstrom of War missions.
I only had five of them, so I had to make a new one.
I fitted them on 40mm bases and added ”banners” that where numbered from 1 – 6.
What next? It is rumoured that my Dark Eldar have requested their Corsairs allies for some flamer backup!
Cheers,
Ørnulv

I could not resist the temptation to put a mutilated body on the base. |
Time to search for new victims to modify... |

Crimson Fists Venerable Dreadnought
Just a quick update here, now that I'm finally back in 'painting mode' again. I've been building, priming and base coating quite a few models these past few months, so I've got plenty of Space Marines lined up...
First model out is a Venerable Dreadnought. It's designed to go up close and personal, with a Multi-melta and Power Fist with Heavy Flamer. I suppose I'll have to find some way to transport it to where I need it to go before I start expecting it to actually do something on the table, but I already have something in the works to handle that. ;)
Next... Either a big brother, or a handful of little brothers.

Eldar Corsairs Warwalkers
I have been on the receiving end of the Eldar Warwalkers so many times… So when it came to adding a Heavy support unit to my own Eldar Corsairs, choosing them was not a very hard choice to make.
Again I tried to merge bits from my Dark Eldar with the Eldar parts in order to make them look “a little fallen into darkness”.
So I went with death skulls, chains, poles, and Dark Eldar heads on the crew, and not forgetting fins from the Hellion Skyboards.
Colour wise I of course went with my Dark Eldar / Eldar Corsairs pallet.
The Weapons are magnetized, so that I have the possibility to field a variety of guns on them.
What Next? I need some object markers and to re-equip some of my winged little friends…
Cheers,
Ørnulv
